INTRODUCTION
Background
Welcome to my website, I call it "the object and its traces are a static language". This topic of the project starts from the traces of objects, starting with identifying the value of objects, and looking at exploring the relationship between humans and the object through emotionally durability and appliance-centered design''
Purpose
The purpose of this project is to design a way to extend the emotional relationship between people and objects and to focus on the lifespan of objects. I want to create a new design field to rethink, remove the focus from the user's experience, and put it in the experience of the object, which means how to change the design instead of considering the user, I am considering the life of the object. I call this process "appliance-centered design". Therefore, in the way of my project summary, I focus on how to express from the perspective of the object, it is about developing a form of value and respect for the object by bringing the person in the objects together. so that the person can experience the behavior of the objects and then does that help them value the object or empathize with the objects.
Audience
The audience of my project is more oriented toward designers, I think what I was doing is an extension of those design approaches but my contribution is to provide empathy between the designer and the objects. At the same time I think this is also a way to allow users Pay more attention to the item itself.

FINAL
Documentary of objects
My first practice is a documentary about objects. Objects and their traces are like static language, conveying some information, it is like a manifestation of the relationship between people and objects. The purpose of this practice is to allow people to observe the life of the object from the perspective of the object. In normal life, we pay too much attention to user center, and seldom pay attention to the details of some objects in daily life. Therefore, the documentary of this object is based on people's daily life to record the life of the object.
I first recorded my daily life in a documentary and then used stop-motion animation to restore the changes in the use of these objects in my life. Make a film where no one only has objects. Let people see the daily life of objects from the perspective of objects. Use this to feel the behavior of the object.
The language & Grammar of objects
The reason why I record and summarize the language and grammar of objects is based on the concept of linguistic relativity proposed by American linguist Benjamin Lee Whorfr. He believes that people who use different languages have different thinking structures, and different languages have different ways of determining people's cognition. People's cognition of the world is more or less restricted and influenced by language. A language with more proper nouns is more accurate. An example often used in Benjamin Lee Whorfr's hypothesis is that the Eskimos have much more vocabulary about snow than English because they are exposed to snow all day. On the contrary, a person in a world without a noun is idealistic. Therefore, there is a correlation between language and thinking.
The movie ’Arrival’ (Denis Villeneuve, 2016) also uses this principle. In the process of learning alien languages, heroine Louise gradually mastered the ability to predict the future. Because the language of the alien changed the way of thinking of the heroine, she gradually had a global way of thinking, so in her memory fragments, slowly not only the past but even future things will appear. Then according to this kind of thinking, the language and grammar of the object determine the way the object perceives the world. If I learn the language and grammar of the object, it also means that I can perceive the world from the perspective of the object. I have become an object or an object has become me.
